Apple is promoting the Apple Watch Series 3 as a holiday gift idea in a new series of ads shared this afternoon on its YouTube channel. Entitled "The Gift of Go," each of the four videos focuses on the Apple Watch Series 3 being used during a specific activity.

The ads focus on snowboarding, soccer, working out, and swimming, with each one showing off a different Apple Watch Series 3 feature. Soccer and snowboarding, for example, demonstrate phone calls over cellular and text messaging.

Workout highlights Apple Music, and Swim focuses on the Workout app. All of the ads share the same general style - a quick look at a feature that shifts to a multi-object view that then transforms into wrapping paper over an Apple Watch Series 3 box.

These videos are just about 15 seconds in length, which is the video length that Apple uses for social media ads on sites like Instagram.

All of the videos focus on the aluminum Apple Watch Series 3 models that have LTE capabilities, with the red Digital Crown clearly visible in each one.

While these are the first short videos featuring the Apple Watch Series 3 that Apple has shared, the company has been running several Apple Watch ads that debuted when the device was first announced in September.

Apple Watch Series 3 models are likely to be a popular holiday gift. Pricing on the Series 3 models with LTE begins at $399, while non-LTE models are priced at $329.

I think the workout video needs some correction.

To play music, tap.. tap... tap! then choose AirPods (CLUNK!) try again, choose AirPods. (CLUNK) music.

They are really pushing hard to improve the iPhoneX production, sad it doesn’t seem to be working as hard on Apple Watch, getting a new series3 for Christmas but a week still seems long to wait for one! That should be like 2-4 days tops.

I've been wanting to want an Apple Watch, I just can't find a reason to buy one. But I have to admit, I'm impressed by the amount of people I notice wearing them lately. It's becoming very mainstream..

That's accurate with how mine works at least, albeit not as fast as the video shows. Workout starts, music starts playing automatically to Airpods. Ever since os4 this is how it works for me.

they are very forgettable.

and i still don't like that red dot on the crown

Not that ads are supposed to have "soul" but these, just like most of Apple's recent ads seem so soulless... I remember a time when Apple ads had charisma. It's all so mechanical and plastic-y now.

Tut tut, when most of your business is imternational, calling it “soccer”....not good.

We call a sport that uses little foot to ball, “Football” and label a sport that uses the foot to ball exclusively, “Soccer”. We are not the sharpest knives in the drawer at times. :D

Just as long as Apple never...Ever...EVER! runs that sickenly-syrupy, overly sentimental annoyingly stupid Frankenstein Christmas ad again. God that was awful. So un-apple like.

Clearly it’s not selling well then.

*Restricted networks for cellular function

*Same old design

*Overpriced

I’ll wait for the redesigned larger screen, apps that actually work and advanced health monitors.

I'm just as wowed with my first Apple Watch 3 in aluminum. It plus my AirPods are the best purchases I have made in 2017. :D
How are the air pods do you get pretty good Bass from them or are they more like the ones Apple includes with the phone only wireless what I mean is not Rapp Bass but more like classic rock and R&B thanks for your input in advance.

Angela Ahrendts has zero contribution to Apples marketing team. She Is the senior vice President of the retail stores for Apple. Not Sure why you would even bring her into the equation of these Apple Watch advertisements.

I can tell you why — angry techies love to hate on popular and successful women. It’s a bizarre phenomenon but every since she was hired the war against her began. Modern day version of “No girls!” I’d guess.

Amen brother. Takes at least a couple of tries to get AirPods to connect.

“It just works!” ...at least it does after a couple of tries...
