Hi forum,

I have a question regarding the GPS accuracy of the Apple Watch. I have been running with my Watch for the last 6 months and I am noticing something strange when I analyze my Watch.
Note: I am not taking my phone with me and when I do I disconnect it from the Watch to make sure the Watch GPS is being used.

When I check the KM/miles of a run in the Activity App and compare this to the output of the GPX/FIT file on an online viewer the distance seems a bit off. The GPX file usually shows a distance of about +/- 200 meters than what is calculated in the activity app.

Is there an explanation for this?

Thanks for any help!
