Apple Watch Series 3 was slow after watchOS 8 upgrade so I started the upgrade to 8.0.1
it's been > 2 hours and the watch hasn't come back from the update and is not communicating with phone. Screen is black.
Does anyone have any advice for this state?

- watch was 93% charged and on charger the whole time
- Got several "Can't connect to internet to validate" alerts
- rebooted both and update started

- have pressed bottom button for 20 seconds
- have pressed Digital Crown for 20 seconds
- have pressed both buttons for 20 seconds.
Does anyone have any advice for this state?
