Apple Watch series 4 battery charge indicator is red

Hi so I bought my new Apple Watch Series 4. I have a question about charging it. When I connect it to the charger included, the display shows time and a battery charging indicator.

I read on apple support's website that the indicator will be green if charging. My indicator is red. Does that mean the watch is not charging? Please advise. Thanks!

it's red if the char,ge is lower than a certain level, I think 20%
