Apple Watch Series 4 low call volume?!

Hello all! New to the forums!

I have quick question regarding apple watch series 4. It seems to be quite loud(as discussed in various reviews) for me except on a regular phone call! No complaints from the person at the other end but the speaker volume appears to be low. Is this expected behavior? And yes I tried increasing the volume during a call. Please share your experiences. Thanks!

Could it be a problem on the other end? The person might not have been close to the microphone?!

Oh hell no. Mine is way louder than my S2 or S3. Me: On "phone" with watch in living room. Wife from two rooms away: "Can you please turn that down? I'm on a conference call".....

The S4 speaker is REALLY loud for someone coming from a S0.

I had the exact same feeling, I answered the call through the watch and felt the volume is not loud enough, i was trying to increase it but it was at max. No complaints from the other end though.
