Bought the aluminum Apple Watch on Oct 11, but there is a gliche with the Activity App on the watch. My workouts were being beautifully recorded; time, distance, calories, heart rate, route, etc. but they were not being reflected within the inner workout exercise ring. And the rings are what other apps like the Health App use. Spent nearly 2 hours with Apple in a good faith attempt to resolve the issue, unsuccessfully.

The watch gets returned tomorrow, day 9. I am unwilling to risk it being a watch problem and extending this issue past day 14 when the return period ends. Recently within the last couple years, Apple has been pretty inflexible, so I have to respond accordingly. What really sucks is I gave them my original Series 1 watch, which still worked but had no value left, for recycle to try to do the right thing. And the Activity App on it worked flawlessly!

Not sure if they'll swap it out or not for another Series 5 watch.

Was happy with battery life; 40-50% left after usually about 14 hours of use.

If your in the 14 day return window return it. Get a refund and repurchase to start the 14 day return period over. Don’t let them exchange watches Or the current 14 day period will continue.
