Apple watch series 5

Hello, I have had the apple watch series 5 for a few months now. And I noticed after the update when my phone rings the watch rings also. However the issue is the watch just rings it doesn't say who is calling nor does it give me the option to answer the call. Any ideas what's going on?

have you tried turning your watch off and back on again?

you can also try unpairing and re-pairing.
You should be able to restore from backup, so you shouldn't loose anything, just be aware it'll take an hour or so to finish, and you might see reduced battery life for a couple days after (so don't panic if you do)


These 2 things seem to clear up the majority of watch issues.
sometimes things just get out of sync in the watch.

I did both of those things
