Apple Watch Series 6 and iPhone 11 after taking off Apple Watch to charge then putting it back on takes forever to unlock it from iPhone after

It takes like 4 to 6 unlocks from my iPhone 11.

Why ?

Anyway to make this like it was ? Speedy unlocks. I am on the latest iOS and WatchOS.

I don’t have any suggestions, just wanted to let you know you’re not alone. I’m having this same problem with my iPhone 12 and Series 5. Seems like it started after the latest updates. Hopefully the next updates will fix this.

Me too, AW6 and iPhone XR. Takes 3-5 seconds for watch to unlock after I unlock phone w FaceID (and I stare at the “unlocking” notification…

TBH, up until recently I never even realized I could unlock my Apple Watch from my iPhone. I always unlocked my watch with the PIN code on the Watch. The couple times I tried it from the phone (Apple Watch SE, iPhone SE (2020)), it worked fine.
