Hey guys. I purchased the 13 pro max and Apple Watch 7 this year. First Apple products in almost 8 years, switching from Samsung.
I got the aluminum Watch and I can’t seem to find any cases for it. Who makes quality cases for these that will protect from bumps and scratches? I’ve looked at spigen, zagg, otterbox, etc. spigen Amazon listing lists their 44mm stuff as compatible with the 45mm but in their website it does not state this. Zagg is out of stock and otterbox hasn’t released cases yet.

if I understand the question, I really doubt a 44mm case would fit a 45mm case. Apologies if I read this wrong. My interest is I’m going from the 44mm Series 4, and I am wondering how well the 45mm is going to fit and look on my smallish wrist. I guess I’ll find out in November.

I have a small wrist as well, and I think that the 45mm will look really good. Then again, I’ve always liked the larger watches.

This was my assumption as well as… 45mm and 44mm are not the same measurement lol. But I’m seeing people offering them 44 for a 45 so I dunno.

Who do we look at for a quality minimalist case? I’d like a “bumper” and a screen protector. I’d prefer them as one piece.

I am keeping an eye on the following vendor to see if they will make a version for the Series 7. I use the current version with my Series 6 during work and it definitely has kept my SS from getting messed up.

Is this keeping moisture/water inside?

It is my understanding that the overall dimensions of the AW7 are no different than the AW6 and other 44mm casings. It is the screen in which the measuring is taken for, not the actual body of the watch. The reason the 7 is 45mm is because the smaller bezels result in a 1mm larger screen.

That is great to know. Thanks!

I think the 41mm is 1mm wider, though the 45mm is the same as the 44mm.

The heights may be slightly different too.

This is not the case (heh). The measurements are for the case size, not the screen size.

The bezels on the S7 are 1.7mm, while the S6 are 3mm. So if the cases were exactly the same size and these measurements were based on screen size, the S7 would be 2.6mm taller than the S6, not 1mm.

I doubt any cases for the S6 body style are going to fit on the S7 watches, unless they're really flexible material.

So have we determined if it’ll fit or not in a 44mm case? Spigen website now added Apple 7 to the 44mm case. My watch will be here tomorrow
