Apple Watch Series 7 issue with 3rd Party Charger

Hi There,

I’m having an issue with a 3-in-1 charger and my new aluminium Apple Watch Series 7.

The charger works and charges my Series 6 just fine but when I place my Series 7 on the same charger, the chargers indicator light won’t turn on. The watch itself says it’s charging (the lightning symbol appears) but it doesn’t charge.

Watch is running latest OS 8.0.1 and the charger is a STM ChargeTree 3-in1 wireless charging station.

Any suggestions?
