Apple Watch Series 8 gold stainless steel vs Series 6

Does anyone know if the gold color of the Series 8 stainless steel is the same as the gold stainless Series 6? I’m thinking of upgrading but am wondering if my gold Milanese band from my series 6 will match the series 8. Thank you!

They're not the same. The gold was switched to a more lighter gold starting on the S7.

You are correct. It was in fact switched on the S6, not S7.
