Why is it so difficult to tell which series your watch is. On the watch app on an iPhone, you go to General, About, you get all kinds of data such as Version, Model Number, Serial Number, Wi-Fi Address, etc, but no Series Number. In order to get Series, you go to Model number, which gives you an M number. Touch there and you get an A number. Then you have to cross reference this A number to a list on the web to find the watch series. Come on Apple! This is the 21st Century. How much trouble would it be to list the Series number in the watch app? Yes, it's on the back of the watch, but you need a magnifying glass to find it and read it there with my old eyes.

It's written on the back of the watch casing.

Doesn't get any easier than reading the back of the watch casing.

Apple even provides a Magnifier app on the phone for you, and you can add it to Control Center for quick/easy access. Makes those dark restaurant small print menus a whole lot easier for us with older eyes.

All that said, don't most folks remember what series watch they own?

Good to know. Thank you. I'm 82 and don't remember what happened last week :)

I definitely think this is something Apple could improve. It's confusing as hell trying to determine what iPad someone has too. Under 'about' mine just says "iPad Pro (11-inch)". How would someone know that's the 2018 model?

Yes, that works. Thank you. But why o' why can't they do it in the iPhone Watch app?
I would argue that’s harder. Sorry, man. Your issue is not resonating with me.

I don’t want to open an app to see what series watch I have.
