Newbie here. Last night I updated my aw3 to the newest software. I glanced down at my watch a few hours later and the face was on and half dimmed. I thought it was glitched and tapped on the screen and it lit back up. Again this morning I looked down and the same thing. Then walking around Lowe’s this evening it stayed this way for about 20 minutes. Is anyone else’s watch doing this now??

I would try a hard reset on the Apple Watch or in the least, power it down, and see if that glitch still exists or not.

I would love to have this glitch on my AW4 as it is a bit More useful on AW4 thanks to infograph compilation.

It hasn’t done it again since last night. I know the series 3 doesn’t have always on display, that’s why I came here to ask. Maybe it was just a bug.

Perhaps you might want to edit the thread title. I read it as if you expected the S3 to have AOD.

Edited the title. I haven’t upgraded to series 5 yet because I’m not interested in the AOD. After updating I thought maybe they rolled out some form of it for older series. I wouldn’t use it if they did. Sounds nice but I’m sure it would kill the battery life.
