Hi guys, I have a UK Apple Watch and am currently on holiday in Spain. Not had any issues using my watch or charging it over here via a UK to Euro plug adapter but had it on charge all night and this morning it’s dead flat but was warm. I’m sure it was only around 45% when I put it on last night but may be wrong, lots of alcohol consumed ;)

Now when I put it on the charger, the Apple logo comes on for around 5 secs then goes off for a few seconds then repeats this.

Any ideas? If it was the fact I have a UK charger etc then I would have thought the issue would have been present from the start here but it’s been nearly a week.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a hardware problem. About all you can try is a hard reset and then put back on the charging pad. If it is booting on and off it is likely the charger circuitry (inside the watch).

After this about all you can try is to run it completely dead/flat and then try to charge.

Thanks. It’s dead flat now so I can’t perform a hard reset can I?

If not I’ll just pop in the Apple store on my return

Update* Took it too the Apple store and they could not do anything. Had to be sent away for repair or replacement. Will find out in a couple of weeks but the genius thinks its software related and not hardware.
