Hi everyone, just wanted to ask for your opinion. Do you think the 46mm one looks too big on my wrist? I tried the demo unit in the store with the M/L sport band, and it was loose even on the smallest pin. Also attached a pic of my current 41mm watch (the silver one with link bracelet) for comparison

That's a completely subjective measure. I've seen people with watches that I would consider grotesquely large, but they were happy with the look. You like it, you buy it, don't care too much about what other people think.

What the previous commenter said. Plus: Why do you want the bigger size? Is it worth to you having a slightly larger display and possibly battery (not sure on the improvements there)? I deliberately choose the smallest model each time because I don’t want it to be bigger, just small enough to give me the necessary details on screen and be able to track my movements just like any of the other models would.

It looks fine. If you want to go bigger, go for it.

To me it looks too big when the watch hangs over the sides of your wrist when you look at it from above. that's not the case here.

I think the only real issue is the dangling length of the Sport Band - that looks like it could easily catch on something or be yanked by someone. If you can solve that with a different band, then I'd say you should go with whatever just makes you feel like you like it more. I tend to think the small size is part of the the point of a wrist-worn device for anyone, but I know some people love the idea of the vast and nerdish-looking Ultra, so that's just down to preference.

For some of us the larger sizes are really desirable because of age and diminishing vision. I got my Ultra 2 before I had my cataract surgery and really appreciated the watch. Since I now have crystal clear vision I now appreciate the other functions that the Ultra has. I do agree that the size is a little bit hard to hide on wrist but I could give a hoot in holler what others think.

For me personally the smaller watch looks much better on your wrist.

But as all other said - it is completely up to you. What feels better to you? Which screen is better for you/your eyes/your habits?
How important is a longer battery life (which would lead to the bigger watches/Ultra).

Agree with iSuzan that the smaller size looks a lot better on your wrist.

I've bought the smaller size on both of my Apple Watch purchases for the same reason, even if it means I sometimes have to squint a little to see the smallest complications.

I was on the team larger up until today. I do think the smaller one look better on you.
I just picked up a 42mm today after wearing the larger model since Series 0. I had to sacrifice 85+ all original bands. But I am happy with my decision.

Looks fine to me.
