Apple Watch, Slow Wifi upon unlock

On Catalina, those of us with MBP's trying to use our watches for unlock end up with slow wifi after waking from sleep -- has anyone tried this in Big Sur to see if it got fixed/?

I was having the same issue on Catalina as well. Upgraded to Big Sur a few days ago, and the issue is gone for me so far.
