Apple Watch SS Classic Band ok for working out?

I received my SS Classic Buckle and am wondering if it is just as "sweat resistant" as the sports bands? Will it stain if gotten wet either with sweat or water droplets?

To address your first sentence, definitely not. It will stain, and worse, probably start to smell terribly after awhile.

You'll probably want the sport band for that.
