Apple Watch Stops Charging After Awhile

The last two nights I have noticed that after being on the charger for a few hours, the Watch will stop charging. In one instance I had to take the Watch off the charger and then put it back on and it immediately started charging again. On the next night it stopped charging then started charging again by itself (I heard the charging tone and saw the animation kick back into effect).

I am using an Apple Watch 4 with Apple's charger (the white ring one).

I know there was a bug like this in previous versions. Perhaps this bug has resurfaced? Has anyone else experienced this on the latest AW software update?
