Time:
- Many faces (variety of colours, digital face, simple elegant face, fancy time displays, fun faces)
- Can add stop watch, events, places to the face.

Glances:
- Swipe up to see music, heart rate, etc

Communication:
- Tap your wrist to read/respond to messages
- Receive calls (built in speaker, mic)
- Can read full emails (delete, mark unread, etc)
- By pressing side button - connect with friends (connect Watch to watch) - Can send sketches, taps, your heartbeat

Health and fitness:
- Tracks daily movement, how long your exercising, reminds if your sitting to long (comes together in 3 ring graphic)
- Sends you reminders to be active, how active you have been in the past
- New workout app: running, cycling -> gives details of that workout (calories burnt, distance travelled, time elapse of workout)

I'll 'probably' Start with the $599 base SS model but am very disappointed at the timing and that we have to wait a month for pre orders to start. I am flying to Europe on May 11 so if I do not manage to get quickly into the shipping queue I'll have to wait until I get home. I doubt I will want to pick one up in France or Germany even if I can because I am not using up my entire duty allowance on one item.

The whole April 24th thing really irritates me. At least I can go play with it on April 10th, but that was the day I hoped it would launch. Can Apple ever launch a product early?

same here...over a month before pre-orders start is a little disappointing. I fly to London on 1st May, would love to have my watch by then
