So basically all I did was change the orientation of the watch from my left to my right hand, and since then, the watch asks me to enter the code whenever I don't use the watch for more than maybe 5 minutes or so.

Usually it would only ask me the code after I have taken it off my arm to reload it. Then I would enter the code once, and that would be it.

Now it's constantly asking. So I changed the orientation again and put it back on my left hand, but it's still doing this.

In addition to that, I couldn't use my workout app properly ("5x5 stronglifts"), because basically, the app kept closing itself as soon as the watch turned off its screen. Normaly I would just tap on the screen and the app would still be there. But now I had to go to the App list and re-open the app each time.

What the hell is wrong with my Watch? Has anyone had something like this?

What version of watch? And a hard reboot - which has been suggested - is a good idea.

I have a Watch 6 which means an always on screen. I swim laps for about an hour everyday and the screen stays on and the app is tracking my workout. I have done this with the Watch 3, 4, and 5 too. So something is wrong. After a hard reboot you could also try unpairing and repairing it to your phone. If nothing works might need to call apple.
