Well, after the keynote today, it seems like there will indeed be no Apple Watch support for the 6th gen iPod touch. I was hoping... Do you think there will ever be a chance they do?

It would be nice for them to include it but I doubt they will. In order for the watch to be of much use, there has to be a constant data connection. Something the iPod obviously can't always offer. Also, the target markets for the two devices are much different. One is marketed as more of a luxury accessory whereas the iPod is marketed as more of a kids/gaming/media device.

Really, the only reason I could see apple adding watch support is the fitness aspect of both the watch and iPod. But if it hasn't happened by now I doubt it will. Maybe iOS 9.1 or something like that.

I would've thought it can still be for IpT users who want to view offline stuff through the aWatch, without having to take out their IpT. Then again, this market may not be large enough to warrant such support
