Me and my wife has an apple watch each. For some reason, her notification when I send her taps does not give her taptic/sound feedback. It dose however show on the screen if she has the screen turned on while I send it.

2 days ago, I fixed this by reboot the watch. Do I have to reboot this thing every day now?

Anyone else experiencing broken taptic notification?

Yeah! Me too, only way I've gotten it to work again, is the reset method. Gahhhhhhhh we need software updates! I've tried to make my iphone have no sound and no vibrate, but when I change that on the iphone, the watch doesn't make any sounds or give feedback.

the default is to mirror the phone. so yeah that will happen

Sorry for the tangent, but what do you all mean when you say "reset my watch" or "reboot"? How is this done?

So there are 3 things you can try:

1) Reboot - hold the crown until the reboot button appears, then slide it
2) Reset - hold the crown and contact button until apple logo appears
3) Pair/unpair - go to the iphone watch app and do that there

Thanks!!!!

I only knew of #3 which takes a lot of time. Much appreciated!

Set messages to custom, then go to notifications and set it to custom - I have mine to show alerts, sound, haptic and to repeat twice.

Then go to messages section under the regular my watch screen and do the same there.
