Apple Watch Timer No Longer Interrupting Music Playback on Headphones

Hi Everyone,
It used to be that if a timer or alarm sounded on Apple Watch and I'm listening to music on my Airpods Pro, music would pause and the alarm would sound on my headphones.
An Apple Watch update made it stop working, does anyone know if that is just for me, or if it's like that for everyone now?

Hmm, I find this is hit and miss. Sometimes it does it for me sometimes it doesn’t. This is on watch OS7. I think it also depends what app I’m streaming music from.
