Here are a few videos I took while messing around with the Apple Watch demo unit at the store.

Just a few observations:

-The UI was easy to figure out (maybe since I've been following the Apple Watch closely for a while)

-The UI is very smooth, no noticeable lag except when using the swipe from left "back" gesture

-It makes sense to have Glances/Notification Center only appear in the watch face, since with a small screen it would be too easy to accidentally activate those features while scrolling in other apps.

-Force Touch is intuitive and easy to initiate. The only issue is knowing which apps or screens have force touch functionality. I just had to experiment and discover which apps use it on my own.

-The flower and butterfly watch faces literally look like a flower/butterfly is sitting directly behind the glass.

-The digital crown scrolling feels very natural and connected to the screen with no noticeable latency.

-The Apple Watch overall is smaller than I imagined.

-Sorry in advance for having vertical video syndrome. Grr. :-/

Thanks for the videos. Seems odd that you apparently can't do anything like select a date on the month view of the calendar. And the search in Maps was non-functional. Was that because it was a demo or what?

Yeah, it was strange. I don't think I showed in this video, but when you force touch the calendar it allows you to select the day and month views, but I don't recall being able to change to different dates.
