Apple Watch Ultra 2 dictation turning off…

Hey everyone! I did a quick search and couldn’t find anything on this but when I try to use dictation to reply to a text I noticed the dictation “quits” when I move my wrist (at the gym or when driving or just doing any task really). Is there a setting amiss here that will allow dictation to continue to work despite moving around? Hope I explained this well enough. lol ive done multiple hard resets and I feel like it’s setting of some kind…

It's meant for quick notes, not novels. It makes sense that it would take wrist movement as a "stop" signal.

No setting that I'm aware of. Maybe there is a dedicated dictation or voice recording app?

I feel ya. But it won’t even let me get one word out if I move- it does it a lot but sometimes it’ll be ok. It’s kinda strange. But thanks for taking the time to reply!
