Apple Watch Ultra and Microphone issues

Hi all,

Is there an issue with the Microphone on the Apple Watch Ultra?

I’m finding that the microphone doesn’t work after a few hours and this is after I’ve done a rest.
I’ve noticed there is a forum about the Series 8 but I wondering there other Apple Watch Ultra users experiencing the same issues?

Is this a hardware or software issue?

Users with the Ultra and S7 have also reported this issue. One person even had their ultra exchanged at the store, but the problem persists (see the other thread on microphone problems with S8), so it’s a software bug. I‘m baffled that Apple hasn’t fixed this yet.

I returned mine, spent a couple hours online trying to fix it, unpaired it several times, tried beta download and it still didn't work then went to return it and they told me I should wait until the update, yeah no, I'm returning it while I still can. I was told it would just happen again if I exchanged it so nope, not buying another. I didn't want to be their Guinea pig for almost $900

The update that was released today is supposed to have fixed it

The update has fixed this for me.
It would have gone back if it didn’t.
