I've seen a few posts on here about marks on that part of the watch, some managed to get them off using soap and water, some lived with them and some returned the watch. FWIW mines never had any marks on it as far as I know and I've had my ultra since launch. For that size mark on yours I dont think it'd bother me but YMMV.

link to a previous thread about it.

Thanks alot for your comment, What makes me surprised is that it has been like this since I took it out of the box

Yeah thats was the same with some folks over on that thread I linked to, think some decided it wasn't damage as such but something within the material itself.

Thanks dear, So from your point of view it doesn’t worth to exchange it?

It's up to you but if this one was like that out of the box then who's to say the replacement won't be the same or worse. We all have different tolerance levels for stuff like this, I've not looked at that part of my watch since the last time it was discussed on here, I wouldn't notice if my watch developed a mark in that area but if it bothers you then return it.

I believe it is a composite or plastic insulator that separates the antenna from the Watch body.

Thank you 👍

My watch had a few of these early on - they eventually wore off and now the gps band looks perfect.

I wouldn't. But that's me. :)
Same here. After reading a post on here, I checked mine and they were all over the place. After a few weeks, they’re all gone and it looks newer than when it was new.

Had this on my U1 when it first came out. Random black marks that appeared to be under the surface. Started with a couple small ones then quite a bit of it went darker. Initially thought there might be an underlying problem but they eventually disappeared on their own. My U2 never had the issue.

Thanks man for the update. I’m having the black marks too but on my silver iPhone 17 pro’s antenna around the plateau randomly. It also seems to be inside of the material as it cannot be removed no matter what, hoping that it goes away on itself too
