I do several activities where I wear gloves, such as mountain biking. I find it a big nuisance having to stop and unglove to operate my AW. Siri is not reliable, especially in areas with no cellular/wifi reception. I have tried gloves with special material that is supposed to be touchscreen-sensitive, with very limited success.

Can the Apple Watch Ultra be operated while wearing regular gloves?

Is it possible to switch apps while gloved?

Interested to hear from those who have actually used it while wearing gloves, as opposed to Apple marketing material that "it is designed to be used with gloves."
