Black or natural?
for those who own one already? want to buy one? be more specific please.

the black option is only available for just over a year now, there were 2 years of natural only before so you will get very skewed results.

Black is more sporty, but if you like to switch bands a lot, natural can go with any color.

Need more context. What I like and suits me is totally different to everyone else.

Black is good in some conditions, natural in others.

All bands go with natural, most go with the black.

Can't stand black - too depressing.

Natural titanium is my new Ultra Watch...

My EV car was specifically ordered white exterior and white interior.
Car dealer said that black on black is most popular and tried to sell me that when I told him that I feel like I was in a coffin....

When the black Ultra 2 came out everyone went crazy for it. Doesn't seem the case any more. John Gruber has been a huge advocate for black apple everything trying to create the "James Bond" look.

Apple fans tend to want the "new color" regardless of what the color is. Part of the reason the orange iPhone has gotten a lot of attention. I focus more on what color I want and how they go with outfits I wear. Natural is the best option for me. But I have a dark Apple Watch Series 7 I still wear when I want to switch it up. A good combination would be the Space Grey Series 11 + Black Apple Watch Ultra, or a Midnight Apple Watch SE with a Natural Apple Watch Ultra.

Guess that's me.

Last year the desert titanium 16 Pro.

This year the sky blue titanium 17 Air and natural titanium UW3.

Own the ultra 3 in natural with the natural Milanese band and own the ultra 2 in black with the black Milanese band.

I also own about 11 bands. First off, I would think about which band you want. It’s obvious which ones I prefer by a landslide!!! The Milanese band looks great and is the most comfortable watch band I have owned, Apple Watch or other. If you like to switch bands often, the natural is the way to go. Almost every band looks great with it.The black will limit your choice of bands.

As to which one I prefer……I tend to grab the black more often. It just seems smaller and less in your face than the natural. I’ve had the black since launch day and the finish is perfect,I’m not easy on watches so even I am surprised by how well it has held up. I had the natural ultra 1 since launch and thus that was the one that got upgraded. So I have been wearing natural for a few years. I will say that in the summer I tend more towards the natural. Must be the clothes I wear, can’t really explain it.

As I look at them now and think if I had to give one up…not that I would, I enjoy having both watches…..it would probably be the natural. I don’t switch bands anymore and that is a factor as well.

So my rather long answer is the black. Good luck with your decision.
