Apple Watch Upgrade Yearly?

So to trade in my Apple Watch right now is looking like $235. I get the new Series 7 then next the trade in would start around $210 if Apple follows the same pattern. Has anyone on here ever done this over and over and got a new watch each year. Of course my watch has to be in good condition. Thanks for your help! I think I got confused and I would be paying 200 every year.

I get a new watch every year and sell the old rather than trade in. They have to make their cut too when reselling it so you’ll always get low balled on trade in value.
