Hi all,
I'm thinking about whether I should get an apple watch or an iPad Mini 3. If I got the apple watch it would be the stainless steel one which is about $200 more than the ipad Mini. Other then that, why should I get an apple watch, and is it worth the $200 extra cost?

I suppose it boils down to if you need a watch or an ipad.
If you need to think about two totally different products then chances are you don't need either.

It really depends what your needs are, they are two different things... it is a bit like asking "should I buy a Porsche or some Scuba Diving Gear?" Only you can answer.

When I bought my iPhone 6+, I sold my iPad mini because it had become redundant.

So if you've got or are getting an iPhone 6+, don't bother with the iPad mini.

I'm getting an Apple Watch.

Given that the watch and an iPad Mini are very different which do you think you might see needing most? First, why do you think you need an iPad mini? Do you currently have an older generation iPad or iPad mini? What activities are you involved with that having an iPad mini would bring greater convenience to your life?

Why do want the watch? Is it because it's a new cool product? What features of the watch were you hoping to take advantage of?

Same here!

Get the iphone 6+, sell the ipad-mini, and get the iwatch.

First off, what kind of iPhone do you have? You need at least iPhone 5 to pair with the Apple Watch.

Secondly, your comparing two different categories. Get an iPhone 6+ and that'll replace the need for an iPad Mini and then get the Apple Watch.

This exactly sums it up.

I've been thinking of grabbing a 6+ just so I can abandon my iPad Mini. My only hesitation is that I LOVE my Mini full-sized keyboard case...
