Apple watch wakes by itself when is shutdown

I put my apple watch 8 in a case of sunglasses (hard) when I am not using it, because some times I am using my Galaxy watch.
For this reason I turn it off. But when in case AND not charging I find it on. Why is that? Is there any way to leave it without turn on? Is this a problem?
