Apple watch with iPad

I have a cellular iPad and was wondering if the watch could pair with that instead? I have different apps that I need notifications for plus the iPhone sends notifications of text and calls to my iPad already. That would be awesome!
 
Nope doesn't look like its supported, no Apple watch app on the iPad, would have been handy to get some notifications from the iPad on the watch, same as the Mac. oh we'll always Watch OS 1.1 or 2.0. :)

I you can get the :apple:Watch Companion App to run you will be good to go. :eek:Also let us know how you do it.:D
