Apple Watch Won't Charge On Qi Charger?

I got a new Qi Charger for my X but the Watch (Series 3) doesn't respond and charge when placed on there?

I thought it would as with the Air Power - it is just placed on top and charges?

Any ideas?

The watch does not support Qi charging.

Same result here. I tried wireless charging my watch on the Anker charging pad I use for my iPhone 8+. No dice. I guess you're stuck with using the charging puck that came with the watch, or waiting for Apple's AirPower charging pad.

The Apple Watch uses a proprietary version of Qi.
