I'm having trouble w/ my series 2 watch. I'm running watchOS 4.1 and iOS 11.1.2 on my iPhone 7. When I place it on the charger, it acts like it is charging and even warms up like it is charging, but the battery percentage actually decreases instead of increases, or it will charge very very slowly. I have done a factory reset on both and restored from backup, I have tried a different outlet and different charging adapter and cable and that did not resolve it. I took it in and Apple replaced the watch and now the new watch is doing the EXACT same thing. I deleted the 3rd party apps one by one and that didn't resolve the issue. I set the watch up as new instead of restoring from backup and that still did not resolve it. I even erased and set my iPhone up as new and watch as new and I am still having this issue. I will say that when I reboot the watch, it will charge fine, but having to do this every time I need to charge it is not normal, is it? Anyone else run into this issue or have any ideas. Could my phone be causing the issue? I'm going to try to pair to my mother's iPhone 6 to see what happens but wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas or if anyone has seen this happen before.
BTW, I just saw a thread where someone was having this issue in 2015 and Apple replaced the watch 3 times and they still had issues. Commenters were blaming the home electrical. I just wanted to add that this happened at the Apple Store when they were testing my old watch so that to me is confirmation it is not my house, charging adapter or cable. Diagnostics showed there was nothing wrong with my watch when the Apple tech ran it.
