Hi all,

My wife has an Apple Watch Series 7. She wears it occasionally and never mentioned an issue with it. The other day she was wearing it and it looked dead / not responsive. She thought it was just out of battery so took it off (a bit odd since it was around lunch time and the battery normally lasts a full day still). It got put on the charger but when she went back to it the next day, the watch will not turn on. The watch was warm though, maybe a bit oddly warm so but not hot. We have tried holding the side button and the crown down at the same time to get it to reset / turn on but nothing.

Has anyone seen this happen before? I am have some time and might take it by the Apple store on Friday but want to get an idea of what to expect in terms of what could be wrong with it and how much it could cost.

Thanks,
Brian

Well you have done the two important tips… 1. Leave on charger for 24hrs. 2. Try a hard reset with both buttons.
It does look as if there is an issue and the Apple Store is your only option.
