Hi I have installed watch OS8 on my Apple watch 4 and have a couple of workout questions.
1) I had read that Apple now would have the ability auto pause the workout when stopped during a bicycle workout. In my bike trip today, this did not happen. Is this only a Apple watch 7 feature?
2) Apple watch is now speaking to me during workouts. It will give my pace time every mile during a run and every 5 miles during a bicycle workout. Is the pace time given that of the entire workout to that point or for the previous one mile interval when running or 5 mile interval when biking?
Thanks for any replies.

The auto stop on bike is a WatchOS 8 feature and not exclusive to the S7. It should works. Make sure you have the latest version of WatchOS and look in your settings if it’s enabled

@geepondy Go to Settings->Workout->AutoPause

Enable for OutdoorCycling

I've never used the spoken stats thing so I don't know but should be pretty easy to look at your elapsed time & distance and determine if it's giving the lap pace or overall pace.
