Edited was looking at the wrong watch.

Was that band available on a watch before or separately.
It’s one of my most hated bands

yeah just says space gray with black sport loop...wondering whats so new about it ?

The Space Gray was originally sold with the Olive sports loop band and now with the Black loop band.

are you referring to Olive cause they actually called it black with specs of color ?

So hopefully this comes all black now is my thinking....guess ill have to stop at a store.

I’m talking about the Olive sport loop that originally was sold with the aluminum Space Gray watch, the Black sports loop was only sold separately and had the multicolored specks in it.

Selling the Space Gray aluminum watch with the Black sports loop is a “new” combination which might be why it says new on the Apple store. Zooming in on the photos of the Black band being sold with the watch, you can still see the multicolored specks. The Olive was not black and looks like this (bottom photo):
