Go to General and About in settings. See how much space you have free. Every new major update I’ve had to reset and restore from backup (I think logs eat up the space) then it works.

You could try removing music or photos from your watch, as those are the things that usually use up the most space in your Watch storage.

2.7 GB free.

This is a known issue for series 3 owners. The previous thread got deleted. Only way to fix this is to completely erase and restore as a new watch, then update. Very annoying! I will not bother updating.

Fixed it.

I found a fix online most likely did the same thing.

I unpaired my Apple Watch and paired it again.

Now the update installs.

Then you don’t need to free up that much space. If there are any apps you never use, try uninstalling them. Maybe try @slooksterPSV’s suggestion about resetting and restoring from backup.

I had to do this with 6.0 when it came out. 6 I had 900MB free but some audio had synced don’t know how. Anyways reset and restore had 4.1GB so logs??
