I have a apple wireless mouse (the old school kind) and I recently replaced the batteries with rechargable nmh batteries. The clicking feature works but it won't move the mouse around. Does anyone know why this is?

The mouse isn't getting enough power. Mine sometimes does this and I need to re-seat the batteries. If that doesn't work, then you might need to buy more expensive and better quality batteries.
