I'm a life long Mac user and I just recently got the 3.06 GHz iMac running OS 10.6.3 and I have the Apple wireless keyboard and Magic Mouse. The problem is that when waking my iMac from sleep the Volume is getting turned up like I am hitting the Volume Up key on the keyboard . The only way to stop it is to restart. I tried pulling the batteries out of the keyboard and it still didn't stop. So, maybe it's not a problem with the keyboard but the iMac itself. I really have no clue what to do here  Thanks in advance!

I did that and put it to sleep for just a minute and it didn't do it. I will put it to sleep for a longer time than that and let you know if it really worked.
