In the past, I had always just auto-enrolled all of my macs into AppleCare. When I bought my macbook last summer, though, I didn't bother and I just picked up the boxed version today. I tried to activate it in the store, but after I filled out all of the fields, it told me that the servers were down and that I should try again later. When I came home, though, it said that registration was in processing. How long does it normally take to activate the plan?

Thanks

Sounds like they are having activation issues. I would wait until the morning. Give them a call if it still hasn't processed.

The whole process can take a day or two to have it fully registered.

If you are noticing that it's been more than a few days, just call AppleCare and they will help register it.
