Now I'm receiving my 16" I'm thinking about getting AppleCare+. My current 15" (bought back in 2014) had 1150 charge cycles and has 73% of the original battery left according to the Battery Health app (available in the store).

Now I know that AppleCare+ will replace your battery if it's below 80% health within the AppleCare+ period of 3 years. So I'm wondering, is a third-party app like Battery Health or CoconutBattery any proof for this?

Also, which app of these two is better?

Coconut Battery or Battery health app won't be "proof" to make Apple replace the battery. They'll run their own diagnostic to determine if it's needed.
