I'm trying to weigh some options and want advice. I've got one week left of applecare+, I've had my present iphone 4s for almost two years and am quite content with it (I could upgrade to a 6, but that's another issue). I have had my present handset for about 8 months and that leads to my question...

Should I replace my 4s for $50 before my applecare expires? It functions more or less alright, no major issues, but I'm worried about battery life and over all longevity. The question is, should I replace it for $50 or stick with my present handset?

I know it would need a hardware failure (which I could easily happen between now and in a week), I had a long conversation with the folks at the store today.

So that's the question, is it worth the $50 to replace? Will it save in battery longevity? Will it keep things running and happy longer? Thanks folks!

I have a 5 with 2 weeks left on my applecare. Paying the $50 for a replacement so I can sell for as much as possible.
