Applecare and RAM advice

I might be buying a MBP 13" and applecare from Amazon, I live in Mexico City . So, I'd like to know if I can get service (applecare) at Mexico's authorized repair centers.

One more thing.... in case I buy it, I would upgrade RAM, what RAM would you recommend?

Yes, authorized repair shops will repair it in case of problem, and if they don't, you can just call Apple and it'll be picked up.

Upgrade RAM by yourself from Crucial fo example
