So I know I should probably ask AC this question instead of posing this here first, but I'd like to see first if any here has had a similar experience.

I have a mid-2010 17" MBP. There is a slight dent on the lower left corner due a small fall, but there are no misalignments or anything. It has normal wear and tear. Inside, it's been upgrade to a dual SSD/HDD and 8GB RAM. Battery indicator says "Service Battery" - which I assume will lead me to dropping off my MBP. I probably will need to restore my MBP to original hardware - right? Despite the visible damage, will they still honor my warranty? Especially since it's a battery issue? Is the repair on-site for a battery?
