Can I purchase the applecare+ online and use it in Canada?

I just got off the phone with Apple and was told that it was not yet available in Canada.

Hopefully it'll be available in other parts of the world too. It's a shame it's only available in the US at the moment.

I just asked an Apple representative, she said that they just introduced it to the iPhone 4S in the U.S and she is not sure if it will be introduced in Canada.

My guess is that it will not because they set a deadline on getting it in the U.S

maybe in the future though...
