I just received an email from apple confirming the AppleCare for my AirPods Pro 3 which are due to be delivered tomorrow. However the end date is 10 September 2027. How can that be as it it will be less than 2 years after release date and less than 2 years after I receive them?

Anyone else in this situation?

I know it is only a few days, but it’s the principle.

I had this problem when I got my AirPods Pro2. I got them to adjust the date to when I received the AirPods. I forget whether I had to call them or got it done through online chat.

Where was the email sent from? I got confirmation mine has shipped but didn’t get any emails about AC+. In any effect, it’s a legal contract between you and Apple and starts the day you receive the product.

If the email is from Apple, it’s probably just a boiler plate date. Check the actual contract of AC, it should reflect the real date (Sept 19).

Edit: just got my email. End date is Sept 16th on mine. Where is Apple getting these dates from??

I just got my email which lists Sept. 18th but says it renews every year until cancelled. I thought the AppleCare lasted for 2 years? They only seem to sell AC+ instead of normal AC for the APP3. It was $19.99 instead of the $29.99 that AppleCare used to cost.

The delivery date.

I had to also manually correct the date of the AirPods warranty on my 2nd gen AirPods, as I got them from a friend.

I plan to get the pro 3s through the rewards programme of the Autodesk affiliate ambassador program, when I accumulate enough to get the AirPods Pro. Hope I don’t get the wrong date on the warranty either
