did some searching but was unable to come across an answer.

under the new applecare+ coverage, has anyone dropped their phone causing a very minor crack to the screen and was able to get the screen replaced through AppleCare without any issue?

I had a crack... Not sure what you consider minor but it wasn't spiderwebed or anything. As Robert said they will replace the screen. Just make an appointment at your local Apple Store in the support app.

I had a very minor crack on my iPhone a few years ago virtually invisible unless you looked closely. I happened to be in Paris at the time staying at a hotel. I knocked a lamp over on the table in the middle of the night and it fell on my iPhone.

I had Apple Care Plus and called Apple the next morning. They express shipped a “new” phone straight away and once I received it I sent the one with the cracked screen back. I think they arranged for a courier to pick it up. So there was no replacement of the screen. I’m not sure if it’s still the same though.

Does AppleCare+ cover broken or cracked Apple cases?

I just dropped my Apple clear case and it's dented and cracked in two corners....

Nup you’d be out of luck here unfortunately. Doesn’t cover the case.

It’s unlike say the AppleCare+ for the iPad Pro where your Magic Keyboards also covered
