I finally broke my phone! Yay. 13 days into my 14 trial period I shattered my IP6 screen from about a 1 foot drop onto the ground. This has never happened with my old 5 where I dropped it many many times and not so much as a hairline fracture. It seems to me that the curved glass front leaves no barrier between the glass and bezel. Frustrating.

So I called to see if I could get Applecare+ tonight and they sent me a text to verify that the device worked etc and subsequently purchased it. Question is, can I take it in tomorrow for a replacement? I planned on buying Applecare all along just wanted to wait until I decided to keep the 6 for sure. I guess that decision is made for me now.

Thank you in advance for any advice!

Yes you should be able to. It will probably look pretty suspect, however.
